Connecting with the Framework: Small Changes Make a Big Difference

The four full-day Saturday Series Events will provide hands-on, informative sessions, discussion and activities around the “Big Ideas” expressed in the framework: 

  • “Why”- Drivers of Investigation
  • “How”- Standards for Mathematical Practice
  • “What”- Content Connections

Using Universal Design for Learning (UDL), we will investigate how to support learning for all and examine how to broaden assessment practice. Each Saturday workshop will include opportunities to work collaboratively with teachers across and within grade bands. Leading researchers in the field of math and math education will be keynote speakers at each session.
