The Master of Advanced Study in Maternal and Child Nutrition is offered by the UC Davis Department of Nutrition in collaboration with UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education. The department of nutrition is internationally recognized for outstanding research and teaching in the area of maternal and child nutrition. Several faculty members in the department of nutrition have received prestigious awards in this area. In addition, members of the department of nutrition have published extensively in the area of maternal and child nutrition and have been highly influential in shaping both U.S. and international policy with respect to maternal and child health.
