We have a variety of remote/online courses designed to keep you (and your family) learning over summer break.

Brewing

Learn to make your best brew this summer with online courses in Beer Quality. These self-paced, comprehensive courses are a great way to take your craft to the next level. Beginning in July, we’re offering Beer Quality: Color and Clarity, Beer Quality: Freshness and Beer Quality: Quality Systems. Don’t have several weeks to commit? Consider reserving an afternoon for Brewing on a Budget: Quality Control. Wine

Don’t miss the 2021 OIV Wine Marketing Program, now online, to learn how industry experts successfully create a brand, market and sell wine in the United States. You’ll gain practical insight and data that can be used immediately and enjoy opportunities to expand your network. Enrollments are available by the day or the week—July 19-23. Not sure what your schedule will be this summer, don’t sweat it. With UC Davis on Coursera, you have the flexibility to learn on your schedule. You set the pace and deadlines for assignments and have until the end of the course date to complete your coursework. Master a skill or two with courses such as Content Marketing, Wine Tasting, SQL, Equine Welfare and more. Or dive deeper into a particular subject area with specializations from Autism Spectrum Disorder and Spanish for Beginners to Geographic Information Systems and Market Research. Pre-College Programs

Have a junior high or high school student at home? We’ve got you covered. With our remote-instruction College Preparation Courses students looking for a challenge or to improve their academic skills can gain knowledge, skills and habits to help them excel in college. Courses are available for students in grades 7-12 and begin in July. Or let your high schooler test drive the career of their dreams with our online Immersion Programs. Through interactive, simulation-based courses in medicine, forensic science, cyber security and more, students will develop skills in teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving. Courses begin as early as June 7.
