This course is a 1.5 CEU option for participants of the Area 3 Writing Project's institute.

Get ready to pack your suitcase with digital tools that are out of this world! Digital literacy is embedded throughout the CCSS ELA standards, and technology is a key component of our instructional practice, regardless of content area. We are all learning how to incorporate digital tools in our classrooms as a meaningful way to help students become digitally literate. Learn to use Google apps that will get your students to write collaboratively as well as create presentations, websites and blogs. Explore a wide variety of digital media production tools and ideas for iPads, iOS devices, Chromebooks and desktop computers. Learn how to implement strategies in your classroom that will engage and inspire you and your students.

Enrollment Policies

There will be no service charge for withdrawal requests prior to the beginning of the winter quarter. As of January 3, 2019, all withdrawal requests are subject to a $20 processing fee, or the member may request a credit to their student account to be used before the end of the academic year. All fees being held at the conclusion of the academic year will be forfeited.

OLLI EXCURSION COURSE FEES are no longer refundable once you have enrolled, unless your vacancy can be filled by someone on the wait list. A $20 service fee will apply.
