The Inclusive Leader
The Inclusive Leader is a leadership development program seeking to empower leaders in making organizational change, ultimately leading to more diverse and inclusive workplaces. Designed for anyone committed to actively building an open and equitable workplace environment, this program helps participants build cultural awareness through discussion, case studies, current research and peer-to-peer learning. You’ll explore concepts and practices designed to challenge your mindset, develop skills to improve communication with your colleagues, and gain resources to help you compassionately and respectfully lead your team. You’ll also learn actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately in the workplace to help remove structural and social barriers within your organization.
Learning Outcomes:
- Reflect on how your own identity and background shapes day-to-day interactions with colleagues and people you serve
- Communicate effectively and participate in conversations about how race, class, ethnicity, gender and other identity constructs impact workplace environments
- Understand how to create welcoming workplace environments that are supportive and inclusive of all associates
- Implement workplace practices that are known to create more equitable achievement opportunities and engagement among diverse populations

Enrollment Policies

Students have the first week of class to enroll with the understanding that students who enroll after the first day of class are expected to reach out to their instructors to make sure they receive all content and are on track with the course.
