Industrial Safety Hazard Control
Expand your understanding of industrial safety hazard control by learning to identify and assess hazards in the workplace. Learn to recognize priority hazards as well as strategies for removing them. Discover how to use regulations as tools to identify and control hazards. Examine case studies and learn from the field, then brainstorm potential solutions to real-life problems.
This is a required course for the Workplace Health and Safety Manager Certificate Program.
Section Notes
This is an online, remote learning course, which consists of content and curriculum that is taught with pre-recorded and real time lectures, in addition to real-time lecture/Q&A sessions with the instructors. Pre-recorded lectures and live sessions are accessed via our Canvas learning system and Zoom.
This course opens August 16-23 with live sessions on August 16, 18 and 20 1:00 - 4:30 pm.
We allow registration through the first morning of the course. We cannot extend course access beyond 11:59 PM on Monday 8/23, so students pursuing a late enrollment acknowledge that they will have less time to complete the materials. Please contact the course representative with any questions.
