UC Davis Coding Boot Camp

Web development is one of the fastest-growing careers in today’s economy. Jobs are projected to increase at a 27% annual pace nationally through 2024 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The UC Davis Extension Coding Boot Camp is a 24-week intensive program with evening and weekend sessions tailored to the needs of working adults and full-time students. The program includes instruction in high-demand technologies and frameworks, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Database Theory, Bookshelf.js, MongoDB, MySQL, Command Line, Git and Java. Students graduate with a Certificate of Completion from UC Davis Extension, a digital badge signifying their attainment, plus a robust portfolio of web applications to showcase their skills to potential employers. In addition to classroom instruction, students average 20 hours a week on outside projects and on-site learning experiences with employers.

This program is 6 months long and is completely online.  Class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30PM - 9:30PM PST and on Saturdays from 10:00AM - 2:00PM PST.
