Everyone has questions about honeybees and the amazing, sweet food they produce. This class will present an introduction to bees (honey and native bees) and pollination. We will cover the process of making honey from nectar collection–from the hive–honey extraction and end with a California honey tasting. Participants will each receive copies of the recently published UC Davis Honey and Pollination Center Honey Flavor Wheel. Limited enrollment.
