The Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area (YBWA) is recognized as an important bird habitat of North America and hosts nearly 250 bird species during the year. Through photographs of birds and habitats you will learn about the wide variety of birds that can be seen in the YBWA. Some species nest and breed here in summer, many are here only in winter, and some are seen only during migration. Learn about broad groups of species, their different migration patterns and when to look for them in the YBWA. Discussion will also touch on history and management of the wildlife area.
