Business Analysis Planning & Execution: Planning the Work and Working the Plan

Business analysts require a fundamental understanding of project management in order to understand the main concepts of approach, planning, monitoring and execution of the critical tasks they face every day. Intended for business analysts, project managers and others in change management, this online course will guide students through the process of assessing business problems in order to provide adequate context to solution requirements. Through interactive lectures, hands-on assignments and real-world case studies, students will also learn how to assess enterprise capabilities, analyze the breadth and impact of the desired change and determine the optimal solutions to address the identified problems and needs of the organization. At the end of this course, students will be able to map the inputs and outputs of business analysis, develop a business analysis plan and work breakdown structure, and be able to fully assess a business problem and develop a preferred solution approach.
