OLLI members will read Timothy Snyder’s On Tyranny over the course of the term as part of the UC Davis Campus Community Book Project. This peer-led discussion group is organized around shared reading, rotating discussion leadership and active member participation.
The group coordinator will provide the reading schedule, frame discussion goals and help keep the group focused on the themes of On Tyranny and the Campus Community Book Project. Participants will read assigned sections in advance, contribute regularly to discussion and may be invited to help lead or open one session with questions or reflections.
This is not a lecture-based course. Learning comes through preparation, dialogue and the exchange of perspectives among members. Active participation is required.
