Looking ahead, he examines how emerging technologies—including AI, advanced diagnostics and cutting-edge imaging—will shape veterinary medicine and enhance the health of animals, people and the planet.
Instructor: Mark Stetter is dean of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, overseeing education, research, the teaching hospital and global programs serving over 2,500 faculty, staff and students. Since 2021, the school has achieved record research and philanthropic funding. Previously dean at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, he also led animal health programs at Walt Disney World. A diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine, he is widely published and serves on multiple national veterinary boards.
