Journey through Hawaiian culture by way of its music—from ancient chants and traditional implements to Western influences, iconic instruments and the Golden Era of Hawaiian song. This course also highlights today’s cultural renaissance and preservation efforts. Music will be provided to enrich the experience and deepen cultural understanding.
