Can you imagine an arena for horse and cow shows transformed into the streets of London? Yes, each year Red Barn Productions comes to the Cow Palace and recreates the bustling, festive atmosphere of Victorian England in Charles Dickens' time. OLLI plans to hire a bus and take in all this wonder. Dance in Fezziwig's Dance Parlor, eat authentic British food like pasties and kidney pies, purchase special trinkets for gifts and, best of all, meet Charles Dickens himself. An unforgettable experience! Note: Bus trip to San Francisco. Meet at UC Davis Extension, 1333 Research Park Dr., Parking Lot 81, at 8:45 a.m. to board the bus. Participants must be able to get on the bus on their own and be able to walk through the venue and surrounding grounds unassisted.
