One of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century lived for a time within 60 miles of UC Davis. We will explore the home of Eugene O’Neill and visit the grave of his beloved dog, Blemie. O'Neill wrote Long Day's Journey into Night at Tao House. Instructors will lecture on the bus trip to Danville with a self-guided tour to follow at the Tao House. Registration required by April 1. Note: Bus trip to Danville. Meet at UC Davis Extension, 1333 Research Park Dr., Parking Lot 81, to board the bus at 7:45 a.m. Participants must be able to get on the bus on their own and be able to walk around the Tao House site unassisted. Wear comfortable shoes. Transportation cost included. We will take a break for a no-host lunch at a restaurant in Danville. Registration required by March 30. Limited enrollment.
