At some point all managers are faced with difficult individuals who create special challenges for those with whom they work.
In this three-day in-person program, discover how to disentangle difficult people from their behavior and create self-awareness and (ultimately) change. Learn to define difficult behaviors, explore reasons why people may be difficult, and practice a model for coaching that brings about positive change.
Coach and mentor, Kris Plachy, M.S., leads this class, which begins with a session on setting expectations and implementing performance systems which instill accountability. It continues with creating self-awareness and looking at a model for coaching others. Finally, you will have the opportunity to practice to reinforce the management of common challenges presented by difficult people.
