The Ice Ages: 3 Million Years of Natural Climate Change

Earth has had many reversals of climate from cold to warm during the past 3 million years. But human activity was not a factor in these natural climate changes until very recently. We will look at the mechanisms and the history of natural climate change in order to understand how human activity affects the natural cycles. This should provide critical insight into what and how much the human species can do to steer climate change in a “good” direction.
