In this course, participants will learn about the unique nature of university art museums, with a focus on the brand new Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at UC Davis. The session concludes with a behind-the-scenes tour to learn about how the museum works, how exhibitions are created and how educational programs are developed.
Note: The tour will include significant periods of walking and standing for group discussion.
