Anyone who thinks they’re too small to make a difference has never met the honey bee. Enjoy a unique field trip to the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Lab and Bee Haven Garden at UC Davis to explore the science of bees. Engage in a private lecture including observation of a live bee colony. Next we’ll head to The HIVE Tasting Room and Kitchen in Woodland for a guided honey tasting, tour and group lunch, celebrating the flavors, benefits and importance of local honey in our ecosystem and cuisine. This special day includes round trip motor coach, lecture, honey tasting and lunch.
