This lecture will look at the drivers that are shaping our food system, from local to global. Complex challenges include feeding nine billion hungry people, malnutrition in developing countries and rising obesity rates around the world. We will discuss reducing the environmental footprint of our food system while also adapting to a changing environment with climate change.
