The Paralegal Specialist Programs are designed for those who have a certificate or degree in paralegal studies, or a combination of a college degree in any area of study and work experience as a paralegal.
As a student, you will have access to excellent resource materials, including texts, workbooks and interactive study support site. You will also have access to a website with additional resources only for program participants, including lecture notes, mock exams, templates and forms, online citation assistance, online court rules, textbook summary and quizzes, and practice exercise questions.

Course Format and Pacing
This is a self-paced online course. Students will log into UC Davis CPE’s learning management system, Canvas, to access course information and resources. Instruction is delivered through a third-party platform, Paralegal Space. Login information for Paralegal Space will be provided on the first day of class.
Students have six months from the course start date to complete all requirements. Successful completion requires strong time-management skills and careful planning.
