Everyone has been bitten by a mosquito, but how much do you actually know about these insects? In this short course, you will learn why mosquitoes feed on blood, how they find their hosts and the various strategies they use to go undetected. We will also briefly cover all the terrible (but fascinating) diseases they can pass to humans. Our hope is that what you learn will serve as your entry into the captivating world of insects because our instructor believes within each of us, regardless of age, is a curious little entomologist.
