Project Recover (PR), has the mission to find and repatriate Americans Missing in Action since World War II to provide recognition and closure for their families and the nation. For over 29 years, its volunteers have conducted operations in over 20 countries, repatriating Americans missing for up to eight decades. PR is a partner and coordinates with the Defense POW/ MIA Accounting Agency within the Department of Defense. Learn about the process from initiation through repatriation and, most importantly, the impact of repatriation on family and community of long missing family members.
