Homer’s Odyssey is a wonderful tale of adventure. It has nymphs and witches, giants and monsters, ghosts and gods, and best of all, a happy ending. We will discuss the origin of the poem, its narrative settings of reality and fantasy, and its reception by readers ancient and modern.
