Next, write up your notes that include a general account of what’s wrong and what’s right with each of them, like a diagnosis and recommendations for therapy. Use general terms employed in American culture today, like “depressed” or “manic-depressed “or “a narcissist” or “psychotic,” or “with it,” meaning “a really all-around together person.” Does your diagnosis help explain what happened to them? We’ll ponder those questions together while examining scriptural text.
