Sterile processing is a critical component of healthcare that ensures the safety and integrity of medical instruments and equipment used in patient care. This externship allows students to complete hours to count towards testing for certification. Students will receive hands on experience in the hospital on the processes, procedures, and regulations of decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of medical instruments.
