We will be returning to Sierra College’s Sewell Hall Planetarium for a trip to the sun, our very own star. Our session will focus on unlocking the unique properties of the sun and a variety of other stars in the universe. Professor David Dunn will also discuss eclipses, including the Great American Solar Eclipse coming up on Aug. 21, 2017! Our visit will conclude with a projection on the planetarium dome of the night sky, with pointers on what to watch for that evening.
