There’s a film in my soup! Come join us for a celebration of the chaotic satire created by these five brothers from New York City that percolated first on Broadway and perfected full-steam on the Hollywood screen. Their brand of humor was unique, combining a broad physicality (in every sense!) with an underlining intelligence, cutting deep into the absurdities of their particular era and of mankind universally. We will review all five of their first works in cinema, in chronological order: The Cocoanuts (1929), Animal Crackers (1930), Monkey Business (1931), Horse Feathers (1932) and Duck Soup (1933). All you need to have with you is a sense of humor and a sense of the absurd.
