A Survivors Critique: Ken Burns' The U.S. and the Holocaust

Alexander Groth was a resident of the Warsaw Ghetto from 1940 to 1942 during the Nazi occupation of Poland. In this lecture he will offer a critical reconsideration of the Ken Burns Holocaust documentary which premiered on PBS in September, 2022. As a survivor and author, professor Groth will reflect on the Burns’ version of the events and what was omitted from the three-episode ‘extravaganza.’
