Thinking About U.S. Foreign Policy (From Afghanistan to Ukraine)

Get a focus on American foreign policy and how policymakers in Washington weigh different priorities and pressures to make decisions. The goal for participants will be to develop a greater understanding of the realities and limits facing America’s role in the world and to discuss current events. The instructor will draw upon his experience on Capitol Hill and the Biden administration. Particular attention will be given to the conflict in Ukraine.
