This class will review film versions of the three plays to be discussed in Peter Hays' course (The Glass Menagerie, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof). Although both classes can be taken without the other, this class provides opportunity to observe these plays in a cinematic format, thereby providing comparisons for the literary discussion in the second class. Both instructors will be available for the film course, as well as the literary course.
