Writing Workshop: Memoirs

Attention, procrastinators! Have you been putting off writing your memoirs? Now’s the time to start. Your family will always appreciate reading about your fascinating life (even if you think it’s boring). Your fellow memoirists will, too, when you read your stories out loud in class. Class members will offer helpful feedback, and you’ll be able to hear their stories and provide your own supportive comments. Marcy makes the class fun and rewarding and uses her English-teacher experience to assist writers with grammar and punctuation errors. Participants must write each week and read two stories (500-1,000 words) to the class. Advice on how to self-publish will also be provided. There’s no time like the present to write about the past. Enrollment limited to 15.
