Canvas Access Restored – Thursday, 5/14
The UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education instance of Canvas is now available for students and instructors. Assignments can be submitted through Canvas and online classes have resumed as normal.
If you have trouble logging in please submit a ticket to the Canvas Help Desk.
To ensure the best student experience, we took a little extra time testing our site. We are confident the CPE instance of Canvas is secure and key functionality works as intended. There may be some irregularities initially that our technology team is addressing as they are discovered.
All assignments, quizzes, and modules have been extended 7 calendar days to accommodate the outage. The access date of all courses impacted by the Canvas outage will also be extended by 7 days.
Please review your course schedule in Canvas and use the additional time to complete and submit your work. We encourage you to continue engaging with the course materials and to reach out to your instructor if you have questions about your assignments or deadlines.
If you notice an assignment, quiz or discussion board that was due last week but does not appear to have been extended, please submit a ticket through the Canvas Help Desk so we can review it as soon as possible.
To access your class log into Canvas at cpeonline.ucdavis.edu. If you encounter a problem, please submit a ticket through our help desk.
Remain vigilant and exercise caution regarding potential phishing attempts. Watch for unexpected messages that seem to come from UC. The university will never ask for passwords, Social Security numbers, birthdates, or bank account information through email, text or phone calls.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. We recognize that this incident has been disruptive, and appreciate the entire campus community as we navigate this evolving situation together.
