Serving California

Upskilling California's Workforce

CPE is a driving force in educating and empowering California’s workforce. Through statewide contracts and grants with public and private organizations, we support:

  • 42,000+ social workers and other public, nonprofit and tribal human services professionals who serve California’s most vulnerable citizens
  • Water professionals who ensure that clean water is accessible to California’s 40-million citizens and that our levees and dams are safe from natural hazards
  • 12+ state departments by training staff and managers in leadership, communications, health and safety, environmental oversight and many other core job skills

In addition, through thought leadership, evidence-based practice expertise and collaborative partnerships with state and local government agencies, CPE is keeping Californians safer every day.
