Sukhvir S. Brar, MBA, is a lead business consultant for Blue Shield of California and a statistical & predictive analytics consultant for UC Davis, UC San Francisco and Stanford.
Michael Hogarth, M.D., is a professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine, UC Davis. He is a public health, health informatics and pathology informatics faculty member, as well as a member of the UC Davis Graduate Group in Computer Science and a clinician educator. Hogarth is the principal investigator for the California Electronic Death Registration System, one of the most successful electronic vital record systems in the U.S., and the chief medical informatics officer for the Athena Breast Health Network. He is also chair of the UC-ReX project, which has successfully connected data repositories from the five University of California academic medical centers, creating one of the largest clinical repositories in the U.S.
Brian Paciotti is a data scientist at the Clinical and Translation Science Center at UC Davis. He has over 10 years of experience working as a senior researcher and data scientist for government health departments and UC Davis. He is a recipient of the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education Outstanding Service Award.
Tom Witmer has more than 25 years of experience in information technology strategy, management and operations. As vice president of information technology for the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Witmer’s responsibilities include IT support for Kaiser Permanente corporate business partners and their associated IT planning, investment management and operations. He is also co-leading the Kaiser Permanente Analytics program initiatives.
