The Boy on the Wooden Box: How the Impossible Became Possible on Schindler’s List
Join Lis Leyson at The Avid Reader for a presentation on The Boy on the Wooden Box, the memoir as one of the youngest people saved by Oskar Schindler during the Holocaust. Through personal stories and historical reflection, this program explores survival, resilience and the importance of preserving memory across generations. Seating is limited.

This field trip takes place in person at the Avid Reader in Davis.
We will be meeting at the Avid Reader store in Davis, and participants will find transportation/parking independently.

Course enrollments close on December 1. Field trip fees are non-refundable after enrollment. If OLLI cancels a field trip, participants will receive a full refund. OLLI memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
