Summer at the Movies: Five Films to Remember
Some films linger long after the credits roll, returning in flashes of image, sound, or a single unforgettable moment. This course explores five such films, beginning with Buster Keaton’s Seven Chances (1925) and Jacques Tati’s Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday (1953). The series continues with Steven Soderbergh’s King of the Hill (1993), Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull (1980), and Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams (1990). Each session includes viewing and guided discussion.
