Wow, Do We Need Him Now! The Films of Frank Capra
Frank Capra’s most memorable films highlight the life and the struggles of an average American against the forces that want to crush his spirit. In this course, we will look at four of his most famous films that show the triumph of individual spirit against what appears to be overwhelming odds, giving hope and resilience to the American Dream. The films are Mister Deeds Goes to Town, Meet John Doe, Mister Smith Goes to Washington and It’s a Wonderful Life.
