Mentoring Monday Emerging Leader Course Raffle Rules 

 

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Sweepstakes open to US residents 18 years of age or older. Sweepstakes is sponsored by UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (“Sponsor”).
  1. ELIGIBILTY: Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor, and their immediate family members and those living in their household, and each person or entity connected with the production or administration of the Sweepstakes, and each parent company, affiliate, subsidiary, agent and representative of any aforementioned entity are not eligible
  1. HOW TO ENTER: Entry period begins September 23, 2026 at 8:30am and ends at 11:45am.,  (“Sweepstakes Period”). During the Sweepstakes Period, all eligible participants who provide contact information by (1) scanning a QR code (“Entry”) will be considered Participants (“Participants”) Participant entry will close when the Promotion Period ends. You must provide all required information to be eligible to enter and win. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON PER PROMOTION. ADDITIONAL ENTRIES MAY BE DISQUALIFIED. Normal internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties may be disqualified. Entries must be submitted by the Participant. Any attempt by any Participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries and/or plays by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, email addresses, logins, or any other methods will disqualify that Participant’s plays and/or entries, and that Participant and/or entries may be disqualified. Multiple Participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or untimely entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor.
  1. SELECTION OF WINNER: Sponsor will select the name of one (1) potential winner of prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by email within approximately 5 calendar days from the date of the drawing. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Each selected entrant may also be sent an affidavit of eligibility / liability / publicity release. Unless restricted by law, each selected entrant will be required to complete and return the Release within the time period specified therein. Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only two (2) alternate drawings will be held, after which the applicable prize will remain un-awarded. The prize may be forfeited and, in such case, an alternate selected entrant may be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries if a selected entrant: (i) cannot be reached; (ii) fails to provide all necessary signatures on the Release and to return the documents in a timely manner as required pursuant to these Official Rules; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.
  1. PRIZE:  One (1) winner will receive one (1) complimentary enrollment in the Emerging Leader Program (the “Class”) scheduled to take place from September 28, 2026 through November 6, 2026. The Class consists of six (6) live, online, interactive half-day sessions. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $1,995.The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, substituted, or exchanged. No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of the prize. The prize is valid only for the Emerging Leader Program session offered on the dates specified above and may not be applied to any other program, session date, or enrollment. The prize may not be applied retroactively to any course in which the winner is currently enrolled or has previously completed. The winner must meet all eligibility and admission requirements applicable to the Class at the time of redemption. 

  1. CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules.  By participating, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding; (ii) to waive any rights pertaining to participating in the prize and contest, and (iii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law.  By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, together with the respective directors, employees, officers, and agents of each, including without limitation, their respective advertising and promotion entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Sweepstakes, (collectively, the Releasees) from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.  Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of Selected Entrant.  This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to applicable federal, state provincial and local laws.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or violating these Official Rules. The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes, or (vi) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death caused by the prize, or resulting from acceptance, participation in or use of the prize or from participation in the Sweepstakes.

    Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s’ control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other players or Sponsor’s representatives.  Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California with the exception of its choice of law rules.  Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.  

  1. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION

  1. All Entry information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be accessible by UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education. Such information may be used by the University of California to contact each entrant directly with marketing or other information. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant hereby consents to such use.
