The Health and Wellbeing of Medical Providers

Join a cohort of leaders in exploring how the culture of medicine can impact the health and wellbeing of physicians and other medical providers by identifying organizational and individual preventive health approaches to ensure clinician wellbeing. Through video lectures, reading assignments, written assignments and discussion forums, you will examine solutions and treatments for burnout, depression, anxiety and substance disorders that commonly affect physicians and other providers. By the end of the course, you will have the tools to engage, treat and monitor impaired clinicians and improve the overall health of your organization.

This is not a self-paced course. Students will progress through the course together. Course modules are released weekly, where lessons typically load on Wednesdays and are due the following Tuesdays. You can log in and work on courses at any time within that week to view lectures and complete assignments. The previous week's lesson will remain available for the duration of the course. If you enroll after the course start date, you will need to contact the instructor regarding missed lessons.
