Courtney Merson

Courtney Merson is the beating heart of the Discovery Programs' Pre-College Program ensuring that your student has an amazing two weeks with us here at UC Davis.

Having taught English in Japan and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, Courtney is truly a person of the world. But her love for this community and encouraging new learning opportunities for students of all ages brought her back to UC Davis, where she and all her siblings earned their undergraduate degrees.

When she’s not globe-trotting or helping others achieve their academic goals, Courtney loves to rock the karaoke machine and get lost in mystery novels.
