A scholarship opportunity is available for the UC Davis Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing Specialized Study Program. The scholarship is funded by the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) and supports the full cost of the UC Davis CPE Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing Specialized Study Program online courses and bootcamp ($6,000), as well as travel and lodging expenses for the bootcamp.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in (or have already completed) a community college or university degree program
- Completion of college level coursework in general biology, cell biology, molecular biology or biotechnology (1 or more courses)
- Interest in a career in the life science industry, especially cell and gene therapy manufacturing or general biomanufacturing
- Ability to participate in the complete online course series and the in-person bootcamp
