This course is a 1.5 CEU option for registered participants of the Area 3 Writing Project’s institute Writing Like Readers: Students CAN Analyze and Create Complex Texts.
In this series of workshops, you'll examine different strategies and tools used to empower students to be self-directed consumers and producers of both digital and printed complex texts. You will develop lessons that help students set purposes for reading, writing, listening and speaking for authentic audiences. Examples include:
