Chance Encounters- Statistics and Probability in the Common Core

This course is a 3 CEU credit option for registered participants in the UC Davis Mathematics Project institute. Participants will gain confidence to engage students in the CCSS for Statistics and Probability for grades 7-12. Key content includes single and variable statistics, interpreting categorical and quantitative data, describing data distributions and patterns of association, using data to make inferences, chance processes, probability models and rules of probability.
