This course is designed for elementary teacher education candidates who have not taken a college level mathematics course. It is meant to dovetail with other credential course offerings in mathematics education and educational technology. The content of the course will focus on topics that teachers of elementary mathematics will be teaching. Teachers will learn to look at the fundamentals of elementary mathematics in a deeper sense. In addition, much of the material will be enriched with a technology connection via spreadsheets.
