Using resources from the Library of Congress, teacher participants will develop ways for students to investigate connections between the theme and societies past and present. The course will include lectures from distinguished professors and scholars as well as classroom-tested lessons from History Project teacher leaders. Over the course of the four days and the follow-up meeting, teachers will develop, test and present a full lesson they designed and created using materials from the workshop.
