Anatomy of a Musical Part 3: Bigwigs of Broadway
The Broadway musical is one of the few indigenous American art forms. Explore a diverse collection of productions, watching actual stage performance recordings in class. The class will discuss the performances after each viewing. We’ll examine the works of Bob Fosse, Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim and one other major musical.
