Circadian Lighting at Home: UC Davis Lighting Technology Center

Join OLLI at the Lighting Technology Center in Davis for a look at innovations in circadian lighting for home use. We’ll discuss vision science (issues related to lighting spectrum and technology) and its impact on melatonin suppression. Examine dark-adaptation and home injuries related to low lighting conditions. We’ll also learn about the Honda House, the first fully circadian residential home design developed by UC Davis researchers.

A map with directions to the center will be sent to enrollees one day in advance of tour and lecture.
