Egyptian Art: The New Kingdom

From the riches of King Tut’s tomb to the egomania of Rameses II, the art of the New Kingdom in Egypt, ca. 1550-1180 BCE, includes a range of impressive architecture and fine objects. This course will cover both the monuments of Egyptian kings and the art of the ordinary person.
