Listening to Student Thinking: A Focus on Student Engagement, Relevant Tasks and the Mathematics Framework

The four-day Saturday Series will provide hands-on activities and informative discussion sessions around the "Big Ideas" expressed here: "Why"- Drivers of Investigation, "How" Standards for Mathematical Practice, and "What"- Content Connections. During the four sessions, participants will investigate the framework content connection, develop a deeper understanding of the mathematics progressions to provide "just in time" intervention to students, adapt and design lessons to be engaging and relevant for students, and promote asset-based decision making and instruction.
